DAYS OF PRAYER

 Community Days of fasting and prayer for Priests: Thursday, August 29th, The Passion of St. John the Baptist; Friday, September 13th, St. John Chrysostom, Tuesday, September 17th, St. Robert Bellarmine, Friday, October 11th, St. John XXIII, and Tuesday, October 22nd, St. John Paul II. Much is gained through these days of fasting and prayer. Our priests and Seminarians are counting on you.

 
MASSES SCHEDULED AT “ROSE HALL”                                                                                                                                                                                

 Sunday, August 25th Mass and Celebration honors the 60th year of our Founding. The event is scheduled at St. Anthony Parish, Portland, 3700 SE 79th Avenue, 97206. Meditation music pieces will begin at 10:00 AM in the Church with Mass at 10:30 AM celebrated by Archbishop Alexander Sample. A luncheon in the Parish Hall will follow the Liturgy during which our Ave Maria Chorus will provide special music for the occasion. We are encouraging all of our Donnes of Reparation who live locally to attend.

September 22nd we will gather for Adoration at 2:00 PM with a Mass for Healing at 3:00 PM at the Convent. This is the 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time.  Our Celebrant is Father Paul Jeyamani, Pastor of All Saints Parish. This Mass will be offered especially for our Community. Refreshments will follow the Liturgy.

An evening Mass is scheduled at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 9th, Feast of St. Dionysius. This will be offered especially for vocations to our Religious Community.  Our Celebrant is Father Jon Buffington.

Faith Alive Discussions will resume on Thursday, September 12th at 6:30 PM and continue each month through April. A light meal is provided. We will discuss the lives and virtues of St. Catherine Laboure and her spiritual director and confessor St. Claude de Columbiere.

Please pray for our Sisters whose anniversary of death occurs in these months. They have gone before us in the light of faith: Sr. Anne Joseph--August 19th; Mother Regina Rose--September 8th, and Sr. Mary Aloysius--September 15th. May eternal rest in the Lord be theirs.

Eighteenth Sunday in ordinary Time, August 4th, Healing Mass. Adoration begins at 2:00 PM. Mass is at 3:00 PM with Celebrant: Father Tim Mockaitis, Pastor, queen of Peace, Salem. Refreshments will follow the Liturgy. 

 Please reserve Sunday, August 25th on your calendar. We will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of our Founding with a Mass at St. Anthony Parish at 10:30 AM. Archbishop Alexander Sample will be our Celebrant. This will be our Quarterly Donne Gathering with a luncheon following the Liturgy. Special music will be provided on this occasion by our Ave Maria Chorus. St. Anthony Church is located at 3700 SE 79th Avenue, Portland 97206.

A Day of Retreat with Father Bob Barricks is scheduled Saturday, August 27th from 9 to 2 PM. Confessions, Adoration, and Mass are included. Lunch will be provided. The Theme for this Retreat is “Making Ordinary Time Extraordinary Time”.

Mass for Corpus Christi is a Healing Mass at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 23rd with Celebrant, Father Bob Barricks, Pastor, Sacred Heart. Adoration begins at 2:00 PM. A light meal will follow the Liturgy.

The Feast day for Sister Mary Immaculate will be celebrated on Friday, June 28th, with a movie night beginning at 6:30 PM in “Rose Hall”. A light meal will be served. This is the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Sister has requested to watch “The Sound of Music” with all of you for this occasion.
